Day 1:
5:00 AM – Pickup & Departure
Early morning pickup from Chiang Mai and drive to Doi Ang Khang.
7:30 AM – Arrival at Doi Ang Khang Royal Project
Brief introduction and setup for photography.
8:00 AM – Morning Bird Photography at Flower Gardens
Focus on Black-throated Sunbird, Scarlet-breasted Sunbird, and Common Rosefinch as they feed on the seasonal blossoms.
10:00 AM – Woodland & Forest Edge Photography
Target Silver-eared Mesia, Blue-winged Minla, and White-headed Bulbul in the shaded areas of the Royal Project gardens.
12:00 PM – Lunch at a Local Restaurant
1:00 PM – Afternoon Photography at Fruit Tree Areas
Capture Spot-winged Grosbeak, Scarlet Finch, and Chestnut Thrush, which often visit fruiting trees.
4:00 PM – Golden Hour Photography
Focus on sunbirds and finches as they become active before sunset.
5:30 PM – Departure
Drive back to Chiang Mai.
Day 2:
5:30 AM – Sunrise Photography at High Elevation Points
Capture Common Rosefinch, Spot-winged Grosbeak, and other early-morning active birds.
8:00 AM – Breakfast
9:00 AM – Forest Birding & Low-Light Photography
Target Silver-eared Mesia, Chestnut Thrush, and Blue-winged Minla in dense foliage areas.
12:00 PM – Lunch & Midday Rest
1:30 PM – Afternoon Photography Session
Capture Scarlet-breasted Sunbird and Black-throated Sunbird actively feeding on flowers in full bloom.
4:00 PM – Final Sunset Photography
Last opportunity to capture sunbirds and finches in the soft evening light.
