3-Days Bird Photography Tour

Day 1:

5:00 AM – Pickup & Departure

7:00 AM – Arrival at Doi San Ju

8:00 AM – Morning Birdwatching: Focus on Rufous-bellied Niltava, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Sapphire Flycatcher, and Eastern Ultramarine Flycatcher.

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:00 PM – Afternoon Session: Photograph Chestnut-bellied Rock-thrush, Fire-tailed Sunbird, Black-throated Sunbird, and Greater Crimson Sunbird.

4:00 PM – Evening Photography: Capture Red Avadavat, Scarlet Finch, Crested Finchbill, and White-headed Bulbul.

6:00 PM – Overnight Stay at a local guesthouse or accommodation.

 

Day 2:

5:30 AM – Early Morning Photography: Continue to focus on elusive species like Himalayan Cutia, Hudgson’s Frogmouth, and Mrs. Hume’s Pheasant.

8:00 AM – Breakfast

9:00 AM – Midday Birdwatching: Capture Giant Nuthatch, Golden Babbler, and Rusty-cheeked Scimitar-babbler.

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:00 PM – Afternoon Session: Photograph the vibrant Fire-tailed Sunbird, Scarlet Finch, and Black-throated Sunbird.

4:00 PM – Evening Photography: Focus on Rufous-backed Sibia, Western Spectacled Barwing, and White-faced Jay.

6:00 PM – Overnight Stay at the guesthouse.

 

Day 3:

5:30 AM – Early Morning Session: Focus on Yellow-bellied Fairy-fantail, Yellow-cheeked Tit, and other forest species.

8:00 AM – Breakfast

9:00 AM – Last Birding Session: Finish the tour with opportunities to capture Crimson-breasted Woodpecker, Spot-breasted Parrotbill, and Oriental White-eye.

12:00 PM – Lunch

1:00 PM – Final Shoot: Photograph Green Cochoa, Purple Cochoa, and other forest specialties.

3:00 PM – Return to Chiang Mai
